Mexica - Wakayama

Some of the best Mexican food I had outside Texas. I'm going back regularly. I had the february 2022 court of the month. the parts are small, but isn't that true for most places in japan?

The only Mexican in Wakayama. The interior and atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. We went for lunch and there were three options. I had enchiladas and my girlfriend had tacos. I would have liked the food to have been served hotter and for the enchiladas to have been bigger and had more filling. I got the lunch set for an extra 300 yen (salad and tea) so in total it 1100 yen. If I were going again then I would order some side dishes as I wasn't really very full after this meal. I love Mexican food so I would come back to try other dishes on the menu

Very nice food but a little expensive for what you get. The restaurant and toilets are clean. The lady was very friendly and helpful. The menu choice is good and they offer a good lunch set. As I mentioned already the portions are a little small for me but the flavors are very good. I would return to this restaurant in the future.

Taste was okay but it’s very over priced for the tiny portions. I paid over 3000 for a meal including 4 tacos and enchiladas for myself and left still hungry! They make you buy a overpriced drink even though I only wanted water! And PLUS there’s a surcharge of ¥500 before you even begin to order! It’s more a bar with small tacos as a snack then a proper meal. It’s worth going to Osaka to get a decent Mexican meal.

I honestly don't understand the negative cripples on this place. I had a tonne Mexican food in japan, looking for a dosis authenticity similar to los angeles or san diego. not fusion, not tex mex, only great aromen. this place knocks out the park. the owners have traveled in mexiko. they worked in la salsita in tokio, one of the few authentic Mexican places there. eating is a bit expensive because they make a lot of their ingredients from ground on. we drank all night still margaritas, had two appetizers, three main dishes, ended with dessert, and went away, filled to the kiemen for less than the cost of a drink and main dish in tokio. my only wish is that this place was closer to to tokio.
