I ordered a delivery of a footlong steak and cheese sandwich and a bowl of meatballs. Unfortunately, the meatballs were missing and the sandwich only had a minimal amount of meat, without any cheese. I tried calling the restaurant but no one answered. This is the second time this has happened. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.
It’s not alright is it when you order nachos and this is the state you get them. No refund. Not acceptable.
I ordered 2 foot long veggie delights. The previous customer had ordered meatballs and therefore the staff member, appeared to be the manager or a person in charge of the Wakefield retail park branch, had touched MEAT previous to taking my order. Not only did SHE NOT OFFER a change of gloves she was rude and extremely disrespectful, as she muttered something into her colleagues ear about how I had asked for my sandwich to be toasted. I am a Company Director and run a catering franchise business in a busy shopping outlet, therefore am all too accustomed with how to operate a food establishment. If my staff behaved in a similar manner, I would not tolerate it as customer service is of paramount. She breached the food and hygiene regulations, and should I have been a Vegetarian, this would have been unacceptable. Disgraceful We have visited this branch multiple times and have always been asked if we would like a change of the gloves By this same staff member in charge. Not sure why things were different today
We spent nearly £30 at this restaurant and were disappointed with both the food and the service. Despite paying extra for meat and cheese in our sandwiches, there was no cheese in either sandwich and the double meat we requested looked nothing like what was shown in the picture. We had difficulty getting our 3-year-old to eat her dinner, but she agreed to after we promised her cookies that never arrived with our order. When we called the restaurant to inquire about the missing items, we were told the only way to receive them was to place another order. As someone who has worked in hospitality for years, I understand mistakes happen, but to not be able to rectify them and be met with rudeness is unacceptable. In the past, I have had missing items delivered promptly when ordering through Just Eat, so this experience was particularly disappointing.
