The Rathskeller - Warren Park

Visited on a Thursday evening. Not crowded. Prompt attendance and visited with our server. She was delightful. Very helpful recommendations on beer . Food was very good and quantity sufficient to bring some home. We ordered our desert to go and will enjoy it tomorrow. Had a wonderful evening and will certainly return. Love German food and they have a nice menu selection. Kudos to Jennifer, our server

Great old building, nice bars, nice beer garden. Food is a bit pricey for the entrees not being great. Disappointed in the sauerbraten. Schnitzels were ok, but not great either. Hard to find good German food in the US. That being said, there's plenty of people who go there, so someone does like it.

We had a wonderful Father's Day Dinner, the Rathskeller is one of my dad's favorite Indianapolis restaurants. We love the ambience and the decoration. We had great service and loved our food.

Beautiful building. Service was slow, waitress told us she didn't know we were there ??? We had plenty of time so we weren't rush, but having been told we were noticed? The main dish was excellent, the side dishes were a bit disappointing, but I wouldn't have wanted it the other way around. I have eaten here before, and it seems pretty much the same place, like visiting once in a while for special occasions.

Many other reviewers were correct. Service, on the slow side but very nice and accurate people. Ambience, very nice place. Food: Appetizer: Spinach Artichoke dip was watery. Food was lukewarm at best. My filet was decent, but not the wife's meal.
