I was really impressed by the customer service. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and valued as customers. They even took photos of us across the street to help those who arrived a bit later find parking—just fantastic! The menu prices are moderate, and we had a wonderful time, taking plenty of selfies on the terrace, haha. We will definitely be back!
Great spot and looks like it turns into a fun dance club at night!
This place used to be called Rumors and is still referred to as such, so don't get confused if you hear it. It's got a charming cozy kind of elegance I can't quite put my finger on. All of the food I've had has been very good. Muscles specifically were a pleasant surprise. They stay open for drinks late even during the week when other places close up early. The late night crowd is a lot of familiar faces. In warm months the bar windows are open to the patio as well!
If you're looking for a laid-back atmosphere and delicious food, the District Anchor is a must-visit. You won't be let down. Everything on the menu is incredibly fresh. My wife and I tried the crab cakes with a side of French fries, and they were mostly crab with barely any filler. The fries were outstanding. The fried eggplant was one of the most exceptional dishes we experienced. We also shared the seared filet, which could compete with any upscale steakhouse. The bartenders are attentive and ensure your glass is always full, ready to whip up any cocktail you desire.
