Denali Family - Wasilla

All other places in town are closed on Mondays. So glad they were. Denali Family Restaurant was GREAT! The food homemade and the service and atmosphere fabulous!

After being on the road for hours or days, you just miss the good old, simple American food. This restaurant makes you feel home, home after a long drive. My brother, dad, and I were on our way to Denali National Park. After I had already driven for 5 hours, we were served with good quality breakfast. We ordered to go because we didn't want to spend too much time. I had a spinach feta omelet. It was simple yet tasty. It came with French toasts/pancake and fries/hashbrowns. My dad ordered 2x2x2. Yes.. like many other reviews, this is your standard American food restaurant, but what I love about this place is the people who work there, they treat you like family and tell you stories.

This is mine and my husband’s go-to dinner date every now and then. We sit in the same spot, and order the same menu almost everytime: And we enjoyed every visits, our usual waiter always makes us feel right at home. She’s good at checking in to ensure we have what we need etc. We’ve been busy with work lately and we haven’t been for awhile. We’ll see you soon Denali!

No standards. Everytime I go, I get charged a different price for the same item I order.This morning I was told I couldn't even get what I normally order that requires a substitution.When asked who the manager was, Jeanie said there was no manager. I guess this is why they are not consistent. Wish a person in charge would contact me.

Best French toast I've had in so long! Reindeer sausage was unique. Excellent family atmosphere and wonderful selection of dessert. Would highly recommend going here! They do accept credit cards but have a surcharge.
