Morrisons Cafe - Watford

Five stars are for the customer service, the employees are brilliant, sadly eating not so, but when I walk with a dame (which seemed to run the caffe on their own) they reimbursed my bill without considering. (she assured me that she didn't work alone because I was afraid that she used a crutch while she tasted more over all the areas of the restaurant) morrisons, you better take care of your personal! they speak the conversation, but they do not seem consciously or uninterested in the way their personal expected to work.

The place is clean, the personal is friendly and there is a nice selection of foods, including afternoon tea . the only part was that eating English breakfast) was not very hot as warm, but maybe it was just one time. I recommend morrisons cafe.

Ordered on their new self service checkout. We ordered poached egg on toast, and porridge with honey as well as two pots of tea. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, maybe 8 tables and us, yet we still waited almost 20 minutes before the food came out. (You sort out the drinks yourself) The food was literally dropped on the table and went to leave. My partner asked if he could have sauce and a couple of sachets were almost thrown at him. The porridge had no honey, so I asked the staff member who said it was already in the bowl. It wasn’t, so I went to the counter and asked for it. The man didn’t even know where the honey was kept. When I got back to the table my partner was eating his poached eggs. They were so overdone it looked like they had put hard boiled eggs minus the shells on his toast. It was obviously understaffed but surely anyone can poach a couple of eggs? The whole point of the self service is that you sit down and your meal is brought to you. Great in theory terrible in practice.

This was a last minute thing. As we were staying at the Premier Inn went here for our breakfast. Friendly staff but have to say the breakfast was warmish. Not hot at all, the reastaurant was not busy so could not understand they could have taken their time with the food.
