Hillery's Bq - Waukegan

Best bands in town!!! Telephone orders are hard to make, so easy to go and order. You are fast and you will get to enjoy the BBQ smells while you wait. The ribbons, catfish, shrimp, hot links and chicken are amazing. The staff is friendly and always working hard to bring you the best food. Sometimes they have desserts like German cakes. Parking is limited. You have a ride, but I never use it.

My whole time favorite grill! The rib tips are so good.

I visited my hometown and had to take my daughters and grandchildren to one of the places where I grew up. After Braggen over Hillery's was not disappointed it was still BUSSIN I got the beef breeze, and small rib tips wih fries (got one of my grandchildren hushpuppies) jas with the soft bread and hover. Had the bread and the pommes in the Bbq sauce as back to the day Oooh and this caramel and roasted peanut grapes

Used to love going here, first the order was wrong, (terrible meat anyways so I wasn’t eating that, and then I go get it replaced and this is what I get

I ordered a $44.00 pan of Tips with sauce on the side in advance for a family gathering for 9/3/22 Saturday morning pick-up at 11:20 am. The tips were aweful. They looked like they were taken from the freezer and heated in the microwave. Light brown in color, no grill marks and very little flavor. My family and I were very disappointed. Not interested in ordering from there ever again.
