Exceptionally good value. Basic but good quality three course meal for late lunch on Valentine’s Day. Very well kept Harvey’s Best. Friendly service.

You seriously can’t beat this place for a tenner and the food you get, all of which is really good! You have to try it for yourself, can’t go wrong for the price! And it’s so pretty in the countryside.

Visited The Star Inn to celebrate my birthday with my family, what a lovely surprise. Building full of character, good food and excellent service, our waitress Charlotte was amazing. Well done, we will definitely come back. Happy new year.

I and my wife and family always love going to the The Star Inn. We love the food, pleaseant and friendly staff, lovely portions +my favourite is the Duck. Generous portions, well cooked no complaints. Just came home from dining there on my 71st birthday -29th Nov 2023. In the summer there is outdoor menus in pleasant surrounds ie Normans Bay, Pevensey Bay.
