Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI'm surprised by all the good reviews. In fairness, I had no preparation at all, and my friend and I just stopped here out of the blue. But I can't imagine I'd go back. The view across the street is very pretty and up on a hill, so if you do go here, be sure to check it out. This pub is across the street from that hill. It is right on the water, but it's not fancy at all. It's picnic tables with duck droppings everywhere, including some on the table tops. You couldn't be closer to the water, and the ducks were cute, but I personally would never eat here. The tables outside are self serve only, so we went to the bar to get drinks. The bar inside was really crowded, and there was only one bartender that was busy. She kept putting receipts in her mouth while she was serving drinks, which really grossed me out. I got an electric lemonade for $7. It wasn't worth it, and came in a plastic cup, and they only accept cash. It was pure chance that I even had $7 cash on me. My friend's drink was made entirely wrong the first time, which she noticed because it was the wrong color. It was remade by dumping part of it in another plastic cup and mixing other stuff with it. If you want to be on the water or feed some ducks, this may be the place for you. If you want a fancy dining experience on the lake, or even want to drink out of a glass, you do not want to go to this place.
I'm so glad we decided to dock and try out Bayside. Social distancing was happening and everyone wore masks. We went on a busy Saturday evening and it was my 1st time. I got the 6 oz beef tenderloin entree. Delicious, some fat which I wasnt a fan of but it was good. I was craving those salt potatoes for days after. If your out on the bay, or in the Webster area check them out.
I love this place. It's a dive but right on the water, with good food and live music. Bring your cash no cards accepted.
Absolutely spectacular food and amazingly attentive service, definitely recommend and a huge fan of the pork cutlets
My fiancé and I went to Bayside on Friday, August 14th and each got the fish fry. I had some coleslaw and tarter sauce with my meal, while my fiancé did not. Within an hour after eating I became very sick. I have heard that the coleslaw and tarter sauce sits out all day and it's very likely that it was bad. Please be careful about what you order here I would hate to see others get sick. I have eaten there a handful times before and never had any issues, but was unlucky this time.
