Burger King - Welwyn Hatfield

After shopping we decided to have lunch in Burger King, Comet Way. The 100% Arabica Bean coffee didn’t taste of coffee at all. My Crispy Chicken Burger was very dry, as if it had been cooked hours before, the cheese in it looked as though it had been left in the open for a long time. The brioche bun was horrible, why serve it in a sweet bun, we are in England not America where most foods have to be sweetened. It was unpalatable. My husband’s cheeseburger was ok. Fries were ok.

If you decide to use the drive-thru, make sure to double-check your order before leaving. The same goes for delivery orders – be sure to check everything before the delivery person leaves. It seems to be a recurring issue that orders are frequently incomplete at this restaurant. Unfortunately, there always seems to be at least one dissatisfied family member without their food.

I usually get good quality food/burgers from this branch of Burger King, but was surprised when my son found an inch long human hair in his cheeseburger. He could see the end of the hair poking out, and pulled it out for us all to see. Needless to say it put the rest of us off from eating our own measl!

I always did prefer the homogenised flame grilled whopper to the homogenised big mac. It tastes more like proper meat.

Lockdown means that we have to have takeaway food. Burger King has not let us down Very fast service and my Bacon Double Burger is gorgeous and the frys as well. The BK team are serious about service and work hard to please. Highly recommended
