Most bizarre place ever! Made a reservation for 20 people and needed to pay in three groups, and they refused us service.
After the gathering at Copperface Jacks with empty stomach, we went to pick up the car at West End market. While we stepped in the market area, the sign of this restaurant rang the bell. We decided to have a quick meal in order to satisfy our appetites. Lucky it was past eight o'clock so we just managed to have a small table without booking. The whole restaurant was packed with happy diners. We placed our orders immediately and the food came in within five minutes. The marinated pork skewers was grilled perfectly with tendered texture and well balanced seasoning. Coconut prawns came in a generous portion of four big prawns with respect to an entrée size. We loved both of the sauces accompanied with the dish. Deep-fried tofu was average with downside of slightly hard skin but the Tom Yum Seafood Soup gained lots of marks back. Well prepared Tom Yum with nice aromatic of herbs and seafood was all done with care, particularly the mussel, which was fresh with juicy meat. Overall experience was impressive and their food reflect the reason of why this restaurant is so busy.

First meal in Brisbane, I’ve heard good things about this place so decided to give it a try. It was a bit hard to find the place as it’s not located on the main street, turns out it is right next to Coles. . Love the decoration of this place, makes me feel like I am in Thailand???????? The outdoor seating is like a rooftop garden???? . Ordered CHICKEN SATAY ($8.50) ???? as an entree, high expectations lead us down pretty quickly. It was so bad, the chicken was over cooked. Super dry and flavorless. I can’t barely finish it. . KANAR MU GROB [Crispy pork stir fried with Chinese broccoli] ($17.9)???? is just another disappointment. It was a bit salty and the meat is not even pork belly, definitely NOT authentic. . CHICKEN GREEN CURRY ($17.9) ???? was too watery, I think the chef was trying to mix water into the curry then got out of control, and the chicken not flavorful enough, is like they cook the curry and chicken separately. Would be better to put in more spices! . Last but not least, LARB GAI [Minced chicken with lemon juice, chill and Thai herbs salad] ($16.9) ???????????? The STAND OUT dish of the night???? it’s actually not my idea to order this so I m glad I listened. It was a refreshing combination of sweet and sour flavours, paired perfectly with rice.
