Pumpkin Creek Cafe - West End

Wonderful place to enjoy a meal! Kid friendly and always a smile on everyone's face. Salad bar is awesome! Service is always friendly and the food delicious every time!

Not to many places to eat in West End. But this is our favorite!!! Great salad bar and menu. It's home cooked food and there is a huge selection. Great price for the food. Darrell the owner is a super nice guy. His barbecue is the best around. We have been remodeling our house for seven months with no kitchen, and this place has saved us! You can call in orders for pick up. I just can't say enough great things about this restaurant.

Would have been nice if the waitress knew about the food served. When we asked what was good she replied I don't eat here. What really then how can you work here? Food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to right home about either.

We started off with ordering nachos as an appetizer. I told the waitress to put the works on them. As in, put a little bit of everything on them. This gave the poor girl an existential crisis. We went on to order our entrées. After my girlfriend completed her order she was informed that she had her choice of potato. I only mention this because it was funny as ****, and was probably the best part of the whole experience. After we finished eating, the waitress brought our cheque promptly. She took damn near 45 minutes to take our money/return with our change. Fortunately we live just over a mile away, because we were both about to experience our own respective explosive bowel movements. After I finished repainting the inside of the toilet, we laid in bed complaining of horrible stomach cramps. I only gave this place a 2 because no one else had yet. I will only go back if eating their diarrhea inducing food will somehow defeat ISIS.
