Dalia At Ocean House - Westerly

Absolutely a breathtaking environment! it was the perfect day....blue sky and no humidity. I had the signature margarita and it was excellent! I order chicken tacos, because if a waiter delivered the fishtaks to the next table, I could smell the fishy. that changed my mind. So I did that huh. everything worked about them except the huh was a little dry all the other aromen were delicious! I had to taste with several salsa....chips were different, not bad. I would go back and try others because of the employment and the service.

Fun experience. Authentic Mexican street food. Unique yet familiar flavors. Receptionist was kind enough to shift our table to a railing location after we had started dining. Only issue was they didn’t transfer all of the place settings…wound up eating off the appetizer serving plate…minor but for an upscale dining establishment, a bit off putting.

Only go for the view and drinks. Food is dry and tacos are just a bunch of lettuce and barely any substance. I had to search for the fish in the fish tacos. The Jardín tacos had no butternut squash as they were advertised. Drinks were fantastic. This just another Ocean House social media influencer restaurant. You are better off getting takeout from another Westerly restaurant and having a night on east beach.

I have eaten at the Ocean House several times The Verandah has been my usual all thru last summer I have also eaten inside during the winter Sunday I ate at Dahlia for the first time The meal service and ambiance We’re fabulous and over the top The only suggestion I can make is that the only vodka you have is regular Tito’s which is a good vodka but personally I like a lemon vodka on the rocks and that wAs unavailable I would suggest Absolute citron Sky citron Stoli citron I rarely get a cocktail and prefer on the rocks ThAnk you again for a wonderful experience
