Mcdonald's - Westlock

This McDonald's is excellent. I have to admit, it's the best one I've been to because the food tastes really fresh. Compared to other McDonald's in St. Albert, this one stands out because they seem to take more care in preparing the food. In St. Albert, you might end up with a burger that's been sitting for an hour and cold fries.

This restaurant is the most poorly managed establishment I have ever been to. It seems like the best opportunity to learn English would be to work at the drive-through here. A new Canadian employee who is recently from India is assigned to the drive-through, resulting in consistently incorrect orders and lengthy wait times. Meanwhile, there are nine other employees inside who speak English fairly well, but they don't seem to be doing much while only three others are actually working. The cleanliness inside the restaurant is subpar and there is a complete lack of accountability. The food is truly revolting.

I ordered a coffee, but it took 15 minutes for it to arrive. The manager's response was not very good either.

Ordered two peppermint mochas at the drive thru, we were asked to pull ahead (for two drinks, seriously? , so we did. Waited 15 minutes before we were able to call an employee delivering food to someone else who was pulled ahead (2 cars had come and gone at this point . We asked about our drinks, he said he would be right back with them. Another 5 minutes, we did the same thing. This employee told us the machine was broken and they were trying to fix it. I went in to get a refund, and the machine was magically fixed. They offered us the drinks after the refund. We took one sip and threw them in the garbage. They were lukewarm and tasted nothing like they should. This McDonald’s continues to disappoint. Every. Single. Time. Never gets the order right, the food isn’t the same as other McDonald’s. Either cold or overcooked, no in between. There’s maybe three good employees. Management seems incompetent, and the rest of the staff are rude.

Not many parking spots. Staff good. Same McDonald's food as all of them. Waited in line to place order. Most focus is on drive threw.
