I really like their Irish Breakfast but they have no customer service. I ordered tea in April. Over the next three months I emailed them and also responded to their emails on the status of my order. No response. First of September I disputed the charge with my credit card company. A week later my credit card company credited the charge. Another week later my tea showed up. I have attempted to email them to return the product and of course I am not able to connect with a person.
As has been the case each time I order, everything goes great and delivery is on time. I will be ordering from you in the future, love the products.
Their tea is amazing, but their customer service is abysmal. As many other reviews have said sometimes you 'll order and it will be prompt and then another time you won 't hear anything and you 'll wonder if your tea will ever arrive. If you are lucky enough to get a response it 'll be short, vague, and uninformative telling you it 's being processed and that 's all. You might find an answer on their website where they post updates about being overwhelmed by orders, but that 's not really very communicative. I asked for refunds twice and they ignored me. I did eventually get my order even though I had asked for it to be canceled and refunded. At least one box they sent me I had to throw away because the tea bags looked stained by some kind of mold or something, I 'm not sure, but I didn 't want to risk it since it looked so weird. As much as I love their tea and love supporting a small business, the lack of communication and respect makes it so this company is not worth supporting in the future. If you order, be prepared for it to take anywhere between 1 week and several months to arrive and be prepared you might need to throw some of it out or I suppose you could attempt a return, but given how unresponsive the company is...good luck. All of my concerns could have been assuaged by a simple multi-sentence email explaining what was happening and giving me a general estimate of when to expect my tea, even if it had been a terribly long time, I would have still appreciated the communication and context.
I ordered tea in early August that was supposed to arrive in a week. 5+ weeks later, it says still processing on the website. I have tried to contact them 4 times (via website, email, and phone) and gotten no response. I 've had to resort to disputing the charge on my credit card (a first for me). If you are in the same boat, I don 't think you 're going to get your tea. I recommend you 1. Dispute the charges. 2. Write a review. 3. Contact the BBB. 4. Find somewhere else to satisfy your tea needs.I 've had numerous small problems fulfilling orders with them in the past, but I had kept going back because they were a small business with a good product. I especially loved the green walnut tea. They 've been a large part of our tea stock in the past. I 'll miss them but look forward to exploring other teas.
