I went to dinner at Portside North yesterday with my mother, daughter, and a family friend for my birthday dinner. Everything was great. You can dine outdoors or at a table in the bar area. They do have a limited menu due to COVID but there was a lot to choose from. We planned on dining outside but there was a nice wide open table in the bar area so we decided to sit there. The bartender was named Chris. He wore a mask the entire time, he was attentive and made a hell of a Watermelon Crush! $5 crushes, can’t beat that. We ordered our food and a short time later the masked cook brought out our plates. Everything was served on heavy duty paper plates and only plastic utensils were use for obvious reasons. Our food was great and no one had any complaints. My daughter got the crab dip and french fries( she’s 12) my mom got some kind of Seafood/Chicken platter. It was a Indian dish and I don’t remember the name but it looked great. She had it before and she knew that’s what she wanted. Me and our family friend got Shrimp and Crab creole which was on the spicy side but very good. I’ll definitely go back even if it’s just to get a $5 crush on Friday’s. They have all different flavors. It wasn’t crowded at all and everything was spread out so you feel safe. You do have to wear a mask until you get to the bar or your table.
Great food but appears to be closed. Their website says they aren’t accepting takeout till after 5/22 but it is now June and when you call someone picks up and then hangs up. So sad to see them go. Great Indian food.
Loved it... can't wait to go and try something from their Indian menu
