Sazon Steakhouse - Whitesburg

My sister and brother-in-law and I eat there several times a week. We love the food. The portions are huge, hot and delicious. The inside is decorated very colorful. The employees are courteous. Nice place for family to eat. And you can get Free Fried Ice Cream. We get one with three spoons and share the ice cream.

It would be nice if the price for the exact same thing didn't change. The food is amazing with fresh herbs every time. This place has improved a lot over time. It's really hard to understand them on the phone and to make sure they understand you. For such a small town, we have some really good restaurants. I would've given them 3 stars before but they've worked hard to earn 5.

We truly love this restaurant but was VERY disappointed today. Our refried beans had a very sour taste to them. I have tasted ruined beans before, I know the taste. We politely told the manager, pushed the beans to the side and ate the rest of our food. We didn't make a scene and we didn't demand new food. We get our bill and guess what? Full price!!! No discount!!!! NOTHING!!!! It is true what they say, don't expect to get the same treatment from someone as you give them.
