The prawn crackers were oily and the sweet chilli dip was not enjoyable. The starters seemed to be of low quality, and the steak was fatty. Even the rice had a greasy taste. We paid £36 for the set meal and were disappointed to find that they did not offer any draught beer. This was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had and we will not be returning. The service from the waiters was also subpar.
We have ordered takeout from Fortune Palace several times, but this was our first time dining in. We had a fantastic experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which was of excellent quality with generous portion sizes and reasonable prices. The service was great too - friendly, polite, and unobtrusive, just as we would expect from a small, local restaurant. It was nice to see the restaurant bustling on a Thursday evening, and we may make dining at Fortune Palace a regular occurrence.
This place should be avoided if you can I was with wife the tall skinny owner is the most arragont obnoxious person I have ever encountered he is doing you a favour talking to you so he thinks plus he is in need of a hose now for the bad points does not matter what you order all tastes of the plastic tubs it’s been sat in the kitchen before they microwave the meat of all the dishes we had was over nuked hard and crispy rice is dry and noodles are mixed from chow mein to thin Japanese you would honestly get better food at your local North Korean waste site all cheap no substance and the only fortune is his after you paid
The food was excellent, exceeding my expectations, and reasonably priced. The restaurant was very crowded on a Saturday night, even early on, so it's advisable to make a reservation. We definitely plan on coming back.
Fantastic food and the staff are fantastic also.Try the chicken and steak in teriyaki on a hot plate you cannot beat this dish
