Jonathans - Wilkes-Barre

Great experience for my son and I at Jonathan’s! After a long day at the lake we were looking for somewhere to get a good steak dinner. We heard great things about Jonathan’s and we wanted to check it out. We were in more casual attire so we weren’t sure whether to go in or not, but they were so welcoming. They were so accommodating and even offered to make my son something more kid friendly, but we both wanted to try the filet. It was cooked to perfection and accompanied by amazing sides to complement the overall flavors. We are so happy to have a delicious restaurant so close to the lake that welcomes you right in and leaves you feeling full and satisfied. Had the pork chop for dinner and we were very disappointed because it had a very strong charbroiled flavor which over power the chop flavor, but was very juicy and tender. I would not order it again. I went with a friend to have dinner and I ordered the Bang Bang Chicken. It was a bang bang all right that it put me in the hospital. The food was obviously contaminated. Never again will I go their to eat and if you are a person of color I suggest you don’t go either. And yes I do have the correct restaurant 31 lakeside drive and please don’t delete this review like you have done in the past with other bad reviews. I will keep checking to make sure this post stays up and if you take it down I will put it back up. Posting again

We’ve had some of our most memorable and fantastic get togethers at Jonathan’s. Whether it was a large family gathering or an intimate dinner for a few.The food options and cocktails and atmosphere is perfect. The crab cakes and steaks are amazing. One of my favorite places. Great food and service. Love the dining area, the deck and music. You could not find a more welcoming place for anyone from any background.
