Is one of the most visited places in England. Total relaxation, here you can find everything you need: fishing, MTB trails, boat cruises, kayaking, vacation home rentals, zip line, helicopter flight, amusement park and the list goes on. Must visit!
Good day out we hired a boat for 2hrs at £60 but online booking would only allow 2 × 1hr booking at £40 per hour. They refunded the £20 no problem. Also take your own food drinks as it is expensive to eat. Eg pack of chips £3.50 bottle of coke £2.25. Lots for kids to do. Car park was also pricey so be advised. Also if taking dogs on boats they do not provide life vests
Great place for kids about 5 years and upwards. My grandson is only 3 so he played on the park, which he lived. Plenty to do for all, archery, clay pigeon shooting, kayaking, go carts the caving was closed. The tree top adventure looked brilliant, would of loved to go on the zip wire. There was a burger type van there and there is also a restaurant. Gift shop on site as well. We had a walk around the grounds and really enjoyed it. My daughter has been to the Preston one and said the Windermere one is better.
This is a fantastic place to visit! The surrounding gardens offer lovely hiking trails, and it's close to Lake Windermere. It's perfect for children, especially with the adventure park that features zip lines. There's also a great café with friendly staff. Additionally, there’s a beautiful little bird that can be spotted near the main house.
