Oniro Taverna - Woodbury

Oniro is my favorite Greek restaurant. I ordered today on Door Dash and the food arrived in perfect condition; the right temperature- so scrumptious!! Yeah Greek salad with grilled shrimp on top is incredible, juicy, huge, well flavored shrimp. Love their karidopita for dessert.

Quality has gone down dramatically since they switched from oniro. Hopefully it's just a brief transition because their chicken was the best.

Food was fantastic. Our favorite dish was the baked feta with apricot and berries. The filet skewers had amazing flavor. The service was great as well, which can just add to a meal. Will definitely be back

Beautiful resturant, very comfortable, extremely well appointed with great attention paid to the design. Food, service value all very good to excellent. 4 1/2 stars would be my rating if 1/2 stars were possible. Will be back!

The calamari was very salty. The Greek salad only had some olive oil as a dressing- kind of tasteless. The branzino fillet was full of bones. The potatoes tasted old and were very salty. They were not lemon potatoes like most Greek restaurants serve. The desert cake was edible but not fresh. On the positive, the ice cream and cappuccino were delicious. As far as ambiance, they play Spanish music since all the employees are Hispanic. I have no problem with that but they should throw in a little Greek music as well. I won't be back.
