Gran lugar. Mucha ventana abierta y luz solar. Great place. Many open windows and sunlight. Had hoped that food was better than your average Chinese. It was better Chinese food than what we usually have (which doesn't say much), but not very good. Hot and spicy soup not spicy and actually watery. Too much brown sauce in my chicken with vegetables made my dish very salty! Maybe if they work out the bends...
I start with a positive one. The food was very good and easy the best in the area. The rest is not so positive. There is a direct negative feeling when entering this restaurant. The lights are so bright that we actually had to adapt to the watts, not a condition where people want to feed. The use of the room is terrible with a large, open, much too bright space when entering, with few tables that are placed too large and clumsy. These tables stand in front of the great crowd of people standing around waiting for the exit. Basically, you eat not only under spotlight, you also have an audience. The restaurant is also very loud and the service is bad, I could let the poor service go, provided that a new restaurant has to work out the kinks, but if they don't completely redesign this room, I would recommend this place only to get out. Waiter was stressed, water was never offered. A court never came out. Again, the food was pretty good. Unfortunately, the experience was so negative.
This restaurant is a great place with plenty of open windows and sunlight. I had high hopes that the food would be better than the average Chinese restaurant, but unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky. While the food was better than most Chinese places in the area (although that's not saying much), it still wasn't very good. The hot and spicy soup lacked spice and was watery. My chicken with vegetables had too much brown sauce, making the dish overly salty. Hopefully, they can work out the kinks in the future.
I will start by saying that the food at this restaurant was exceptional and arguably the best in the area. However, there were several negative aspects to our dining experience. Upon entering, we were immediately struck by the overly bright lighting, which made it difficult for us to relax and enjoy our meal. The layout of the restaurant was not well thought out, with large, awkwardly placed tables that faced a crowd of people waiting for takeout. This created a distracting and uncomfortable atmosphere for diners. In addition, the restaurant was very loud and the service was poor. While I can understand that a new restaurant may have some challenges to work through, I would only recommend this place for takeout unless they make significant changes to the layout and ambiance. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and forgot to offer us water, and one of our dishes never arrived. It is a shame that such great food was overshadowed by the negative aspects of our dining experience.
TS Ma is a standout Chinese restaurant that offers authentic Chinese cuisine. The homemade Beijing Duck is unparalleled, with thin packaging and delicious homemade sauce. The cold cuts, such as the Tofu Skin packed with veggies and the Chef Special Braised Beef Shane, are unique and tasty. The Shanghai Ribs, Chinese Broccoli, and Fish Filets with Ginger Sauce are outstanding. To top it off, the special red bean pancakes made by the chef for dessert were a truly special experience.
