Y Not Restaurant Bar

Good views of the harbour. Staff were friendly. Food was good. For entrée, we had the calamari and bread and dips. Both were tasty but portions seemed small. For mains, we had the scotch steak and lamb shanks. Steak was cooked perfectly. Lamb shanks were delicious. Meat just melted away. Was awfully quiet for a Saturday night. Not sure why. Food was good! Maybe because of the price?

Made a booking online for New Years Eve Dinner and was so fast and easy. Location was great, could see out to the harbour bridge and the boats etc.. Got to sit where ever we wanted which was awesome. Food was fantastic! Prices are reasonable. Great waitress that afternoon and we were just leaving when a live musician started playing, pity would have be great entertainment. Great start for the NY!

This restaurant is a fantastic choice, featuring friendly and attentive staff. The Grab One deals offer great value for your money right now. Our food arrived hot and within a reasonable timeframe, especially considering how busy it was that evening. The lamb shank dish is massive and perfect for anyone with a big appetite, while the pork belly was also very tasty. Although the platter might have seemed a bit pre-made, everything at least had good flavor. It wasn’t overly crowded for a Thursday night, and the location near the water added to the experience. The outdoor area has a lovely atmosphere, complete with ceiling heaters and views of the harbor bridge.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent, and the location by the water is stunning. The staff was also very attentive and welcoming. The interior is cozy, and the outdoor seating is quite pleasant as well, especially with the outdoor gas heaters, unless it's really windy.

The food and drinks were outstanding, and the view was excellent. The portion of risotto was quite generous. The batter on the squid was perfectly done.
