Lotus Garden Restaurant - Yarmouth

I have to say that the service at this restaurant is prompt and the staff is very friendly. Normally, I frequent New Century Chinese Restaurant on Main Street, but they are currently closed due to their staff being on vacation. I decided to try the Chicken Lo Mein at Lotus Garden for takeout, and I was extremely disappointed. While the portion size was generous for the price I paid, I found the dish to be tasteless and akin to eating cardboard. This is why I prefer dining at New Century Restaurant, where I can savor the flavors of my meal. The chicken in the dish was unpleasantly slimy and fatty, and I even discovered a chicken bone in my food. While the vegetables were decent, I prefer my noodles to be less soggy.

Love Lotus Garden. Best Canadian Chinese food in Yarmouth in my opinion ?

I had a bad experience with the previous owners, but it seems there are new owners now, and I am thrilled with the change. The food and service are excellent. I will definitely be returning.

Used to be amazing for their buffet. Since covid food orders are quick and take about 15 minutes from order time. I've had issues with calling them as frequently their phone is off. When ordering anything with sauce need to make sure to say sauce on the side or your food might be soggy by the time it gets home.

Been eating here forever, delicious food. However customer service sucks. The phone line never picks up, I called 50 times and no answer. Ridiculous.
