The burger at HJ Plainland was terrible - cold and missing ingredients. The manager, Luke, was incredibly immature, arrogant, and rude when confronted with a service issue. It's best to skip HJ Plainland and head to Maccas on the South side for a better burger experience. Maccas Plainland offers a great Angus classic burger with delicious salad.

The service at this restaurant was fantastic and very friendly. Our meal arrived quickly and was delicious. There was plenty of seating available in the dining area, and there was even a playground for children.

So good definitely recommend. the food was hot and was delicious. the service was friendly and fast.

Going out to these type of places, you learn to expect the same same from each establishment. But it's not the case here. Ordering a grilled chicken burger on one occasion they actually forgot to put the chicken inside the bun.... yes, this is a true statement, from a diner and not a disgruntled ex employee. Another time, the grilled chicken burger was actually just lukewarm, with black grillmarks that covered the whole chicken patty. The bun itself was warm, the lettuce and tomato fresh, but you could tell the patty had been taken from an old burger and put into a new one. Another example: fries from the drive through not fresh, just starting to go stale and then a bit warmer underneath but so stuck together and greasy awful... and how about this: breakfast 2x sausage and egg mcmuffins (oops!! one fresh come on, we all know what a fresh made one looks and tastes like! the other having sat for awhile, dry sausage patty, muffin and cheese almost disappeared not good. You may say that going back so many times is foolhardy and I agree, not returning. Have let the establishment know of this via their website and I must say they did at least contact me immediately via email, to offer their apologies and for our family to go for a meal on them, but we refused to take them up on their offer, wouldn't you do the same? Go again? Never. I'd rather go hungry...

Love hungry jacks ice cream, so thick and creamy. Yum! Service is good, could be better. The cheeses cheeseburger was yum too. Waiting to return.
