The long term locals remember The Lenny Burger as being something back in the day. Well, after a couple of decades operating as the local KFC they are now back in the burger business. I finally made it to Lenny's along with my wife (the long term local in our house) . . . we'd been holding out for an 'eat in' section to open, but that hasn't happened. So we finally went for the take out. It wasn't worth the wait. And while you wait you can lean against the wall or sit on the cold window sill. Not a single chair in the building. A&W around the corner gives A&W quality at A&W prices - and somewhere to sit down.
Just heard about their chicken so I had to stop by. The owner was very very polite, and very welcoming. Very good ambassador! Thanks again for the chicken
We by there the other day and had their famous burgers, got their famous buger and cheese burger and one of their poutines for my family and I to have. The food was awesome.
Great food but read carefully... chicken and waffles is actually a poutine! Totally our error however.
We had the Holy Sriracha and the Lenny Poutine. The burger tasted like a really good homemade version of a fast food restaurant. The chicken was was crispy and juicy. The fries in the poutine were tasty. It was a cold day and we had walked here from our hotel. We went to the takeout area of the restaurant which didn't have any seating. We wanted to eat the food while it was hot, so we sat on the window ledge. I wish there was a bar along the window for people to have a quick bite.
