The hotel was inexpensive and was very well located in Meersburg, close to the lake and the old town. The room was clean and had a nice bathroom with hot water. Unfortunately there were a few issues that affected our stay. Firstly, it was very hot in the room because there were no real shutters. Second, it was very noisy in the backyard where people were smoking all the time. The smoke and the smell of grease entered the room when we opened the windows. Thirdly, breakfast at the hotel was canceled at short notice, although we had previously requested and received confirmation. I found that very unfortunate. Fourth, as hotel guests, we couldn't make reservations at the restaurant, which I didn't understand. I think the hotel could improve in the summer if they offered a fan and mosquito nets in the room. Unfortunately, I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke, so I would not come back.
