Fonzie 's is probably the best pizza place on this end of the island. Locals told us about Fonzie 's and it is worth the half-hour drive. In the parking...lot you will see cars from near and far (we saw cars from Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan, Massachusetts... . Locals come here, as well as the tourists. The restaurant does a robust take-out business. The restaurant is small and easily missed as you cruise along Route 2, but it 's worth a stop if you are looking for a good pizza or meal. Located where Union Road intersects with Route 2, south of Tignish and N/NW of Alberton.

I had battered fish...and chips, nice crispy batter, sweet haddock, good portion, very nice. Jools deep fried, breaded chicken and onion rings. FAB!! had it been soaked in buttermilk? Very moist. Jools said best fried chicken in a long time!! Got to be good to impress her!! Service very nice, quick and attentive. As I said do not let the outside put you off, worth visiting!!
