We had the calamari for an appetizer, and the texture is too rubbery, and it’s just not enough food for a shared appetizer. However, this is the best tasting dish of the night. We had the salmon and duck rice as our meals. The duck rice is not a meal portion: there’s not enough duck or enough rice. The salmon wasn’t seasoned at all, nor was the strange purée, and again, not enough spinach. The drinks were so lackluster I don’t remember them, though I know they were the two tequila cocktails on the menu. All in all: It’s too expensive for the quality. The portions aren’t large enough and it’s not flavored well. Everything was pretty bland and though the presentation was nice, the taste didn’t match the presentation. The service is OK but it’s a little pushy. It seems like they’re basing the price point on the ambience, which is nice, but doesn’t overshadow the bland food and drinks.
