However, the standout from my meal was the chikara combination dinner! The chicken karaage had an absolutely beyond perfect texture and coating, and the teriyaki beef was not only melt-in-your-mouth rich, but the in-house teriyaki sauce was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The only thing I tried that I would pass on next time is their momiji cheesecake, which I found too dense, very eggy and not particularly my style. I would say Ginko is definitely worth the price tag, and is now my favourite Japanese restaurant in the outer Mississauga area of Toronto!

It’s fairly small inside with simple decor, but the food quality speaks for itself. The dim sum menu was great, but the real standout for me was the shrimp eggplant in chili sauce dish — the flavour was INCREDIBLE. I’m going to be thinking about the delicious melt-in-your-mouth texture of that eggplant for ages. I’m already looking forward to when I can come back and have it again!Vegetarian options: A wide variety of vegetarian options on the menu!Parking: It’s Chinatown, so street parking is your best option, of which there are limited spots available. You should be prepared to have to walk.Wheelchair accessibility: There are two sets of stairs going up into the restaurant, and there are no ramps, so it is not wheelchair accessible.
