Just 1klm or so from the heart of Launceston it's a refreshing walk especially if you cut through Princess Park. You can sit in or dine out under the shade of some leafy green trees (November). The food, service prices were all very good to excellent. The ambience is pedestrian but there are a few very old interesting houses to view across the street.

A really trendy and well designed space and the food is just divine. We came for lunch and weren't disappointed the meals can be a little on the pricey side for lunch (think mid $20's to low $30's) but you get what you pay for and we thought it was worth it. The only negative was they didn't take our drink orders down correctly so my small hot chocolate came as a large and my partner's mint hot chocolate came as a plain. Still good though.

My friend and I arrived in Perth for the first night of our Tasmanian holiday. There were many choices for dinner which is why we chose the Queen’s Head Inn. So... leer más My friend and I arrived in Perth for the first night of our Tasmanian holiday. There were many choices for dinner which is why we chose the Queen’s Head Inn. So glad e did. I ordered the crumbed Tasmanian scallops while,my friend had the chicken...parmigiana. Both meals were very generous and both meals were delicious. Each meal came with chips and salad and usually I don’t bother with the salad as it’s usually uninteresting. But not so this one. The salad seemed to be a cross between coleslaw and traditional salad and was lovely. The staff were pleasant, courteous and efficient. In our week long stay in Perth, we will probably visit here again for dinner.

Not sure what the wait staff did all night as we didn't get to see them. Allocated a seat upstairs...and initially forgotten. Ordered after a bit of a wait but then definitely forgotten. When we reached that point when we weren't hungry anymore my partner wandered downstairs to ask what was happening. Told it was on the way. Damn, can't cancel. After another minutes my partner wandered down again and this time it was because other tables were being served and next time we should book. Interesting. You can't argue when you don't understand the explanation. Clever really. The meals turned up after another minutes and if we were puzzled before now we were truly baffled. My wife had ordered some exotic sounding chicken meal but got some thawed and cooked frozen chicken pieces. My pretend scotch fillet was a round piece of meat and contained a piece of bone. Interesting. Scotch fillet is usually boneless in Australia so another experience off my bucket list. We both decided out of for our meals as the side salads were quite well presented. Didn't get a chance to feedback our opinions as we never never asked. But then we hadn't booked.

Entree pork belly was lovely but the steaks for main was way too peppery and very chewy. I expected a lot more for how much it is. I will not be rushing back.
