Today was the most disa... leer más I have frequented the Ironstone Grill for years...1 2x a year usually in the summer months because of their amazing patio and good food. Today was the most disappointing visit ever.I ordered the classic burger described from their menu as a house made burger patty, aged white cheddar cheese, house pickles, tomato, lettuce, remoulade sauce, Kaiser bun.What I got was a burger patty that looked like it sat in a warming drawer for 2+ hours with a slice of cheese on a Kaiser bun. No dressing at all. I sent it back, it came back dressed up with a loads of mayo. When I bit into it, I was disappointed burger was warmish not fresh off the grill and juicy and obviously not 'house made ' and the Kaiser was from a few days ago.Server came to check in, she could tell I wasn 't happy and sent the manager over to speak with me. The manager offered to have it remade, but we were on our way out so he removed it from the bill which was appreciated. I would have preferred to have got what I ordered.Atmosphere 10/10Service 8/10 the server worked hard to keep an 8. When the manager came to speak with me I appreciated that she recognized I wasn 't happy and tried to do something.Food 3/10 for the burger. Others at the table were happy with their orders. My daughter gave the chicken tenders a 10/10 and my Mom gave the nacho 's an A.I 'll be back....and will confirm the description of the burger prior to ordering.

Excellent food and friendly service. We ate here two nights in a row. The rabbit en croute was incredible. The chowder was also very good. Best pizza around this area, hands down! Wood fired pizza oven in the traditional clay ovens. Absolutely delicious! They also make wonderful salads. Small menu but high quality. Only one size of pizza, can feed 1 very hungry adult or 2 moderately hungry. Had a child's birthday dinner here, normal sized tables and bigger/longer sized bench seats in the back. It is one big open dining room. Food came out quickly considering our group size and other patrons. You order at the front and they bring the food to you.

I called asking if they bake bulkie rolls. The woman that answered the phone told me I should order the dinner rolls. I got there and they were smaller than slider buns, nowhere close to hamburger rolls or bulkies. The woman who originally took my order argued with me about my order, even though I ordered on her recommendation after I asked for bulkies. We got things resolved, and I left with hamburger rolls. They were supposedly baked the day of but they were hard as a rock. They went into the trash and I sadly bought superior mass produced bulkies from BJ’s.

Counter order. The counter staff were not at all helpful. This was a total disaster!
