17.04.2025 - 10:18Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing, the people were delightful, and the atmosphere was outstanding. You are right in the middle of all the action. I would highly recommend this place for anybody.

28.10.2024 - 09:09The inn is charming and the terrace view is pretty and enjoyable. The service was stretched due to a couple being out but still quite solid. Food was excellent. Overall recommend it as one of the high end places in Norwich.

02.10.2024 - 15:03Had a very enjoyable evening, food very good and the service was excellent. Only issue is that a service charge of 10% is added to the bill which is optional but you only find out when you receive the bill.

06.09.2024 - 12:50Although disappointed that the restaurant did not honour the original price shown on the website and on the menu (which we would have done in my 4* hospitality environment), the operational team delivered above expectations. We (11 of us) were given the option of a private dining room, which we took, and we were also given a complimentary glass of wine. All three beautifully presented courses of the Sunday Lunch were excellent, and the service was attentive at just the right level. Full marks (5 stars) to the team on the day!

14.08.2024 - 05:44After a great experience at the Morgan Hill Willard Hicks recently my wife was eager to have Mother 's Day dinner at the Campbell Willard Hicks, but it was not the same. The service was relatively slow, and the drink order was wrong. We asked for the wedge salad to be chopped and tossed so we could share it easily. They did make a few cuts into the wedge but left the rest to us (with the server telling us it is chopped when we said something about it). To be fair, our server took the drink off the check, but we only figured out the reason she didn 't like it was because they brought the wrong drink (and we found that when he brought the check). Back to the salad, it was served with the stems still attached to the peppers and the grapes. The corn (in the salad) was on the cob. If it was supposed to be a garnish, I understand, but the salad was described as including corn. Her steak was just as good as she remembered, but the grapes (part of what really makes this dish) were served with stems attached (just a bunch of grapes versus individual, roasted grapes as the plate was served in Morgan Hill). I made the mistake of trying something different (the scallops and risotto; not worth it). The staff was friendly enough, just not as attentive as we experienced in Morgan Hill (or as you should be able to expect for the price).

04.08.2024 - 20:55I had the rabbit ravioli special. The sweetness of the carrot Marsala sauce with the rabbit was an excellent pairing.
