As we were considering a place fo... leer más We last dined here in early 2019 and concluded that absolutely loved this destination. Service, food and ambience was amazing. As we were considering a place for a ?date night,? we opted to return (first time post-Covid). Probably not our best choice.Walked in and the host just stared at me ? I actually had to say ?can we have dinner here?? He then pointed to the room vaguely.After a few more questions I chose a table past the newer section into what we remembered as the cozy dining area. Obviouslythere has been a re-do since our last visit. Bottom line is that we were simply underwhelmed. Service was average. Food wasaverage. Atmosphere was average. They were out of meatloaf (which I remember living in the past). My roasted chicken has zeroflavor and the asparagus was pretty tough to eat. We had to ask halfway through the meal for bread. Not the worst place to eat,but there are far too many other options out there in the region if I?m spending money. I?d love to see this establishmentreturn to what it was before. That said, maybe the decision is to cater to a different crowd and that?s ok as well.
