09.06.2023 - 09:19Another top experience of byron, honestly, I can't mistake their consistency on the quality and level of food and customer service. Eat arrived immediately as usual, but the restaurant was really quiet at that time. service was all smiling. beautiful location on the high street but the outdoor seating area is somehow close to the general pavement, so they have a lot of civilians staring in their food or mouth, while they eat otherwise burger b rex) amazing, milkshake amazing oreo natural) and sweet potato fries

09.04.2023 - 19:20Really disappointed by Bumpkin. I am a big fan of the show, and have supported the owners company ventures over the years including their bars in London and the cookbook back a few years. I finally made it to London and Bumpkin was one of the tops on my lists. I knew it was a pub with traditional British food, but our experience was terrible. First, the waiter was unfriendly (except the manager) and not at all attentive. We made a reservation after we said it was overcrowded for Sunday Roast, and we were occupied with only three other tables. We ordered a wine and a vodka tonic and it took almost twenty minutes to receive it. Our food took longer. The atmosphere was boring and dated. It's not a trendy, modern place, and I knew that, but the boy did the show to make it look beautiful on TV. The seat cushions were all ripened on the stand seats. The servers wore shorts and mounting plates, it just looked unprofessional. The food was good. The potatoes were hard, the meat was so fat, there was basically no real meat, and the veg was just ok. I'd never return. Had super high expectations, as the owners claim to be some of the most famous restaurant operators in the world.

02.04.2023 - 11:08We had a very nice meal at what the Greenwich Galley was renamed. They are only open from 7 p.m. All employees were very friendly, but seemed somewhat unprofessional as if they were just learning the job. Our red wine was delivered tepid and, while apologetic, their only proposal was either they run it under a cold tap or leave it next to our cold water jug. That the food was very good, especially because we used her (unchanged) special food offer. All in all very nice evening, but could all be a little sharpened.

22.03.2023 - 05:31It was a bit of a ghost town for our early booking (5:45), but more staff soon arrived. First tables (for 4) offered were in high traffic areas, even though there were few diners. We were fine to wait while they cleared another. The fan heater blew in our faces, but we just tilted it up a bit. Steaks and service very good.
