The price wasn't too bad. $300 for 4 people, but we got 3 appetizers, food for 4,1 bottomless mimosa,shots,miches plus tax and tip.. The waitress was so kind. She was super busy and still got all of our stuff right. Attentive as well. Loved the music I want to go back already!

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of seating available, both inside and outside. Paninis we?re on point and perfectly balanced. The chicken pesto had just enough of everything to catch every flavor and texture. The chicken avocado ranch was similar (though I didn?t quite catch so much ranch)?these sandwiches are a good size and easily shareable. Wife?s caramel macchiato was sweet and tasty, while my chai latte was so smooth and flavorful. Will definitely be back for more!

None of this has been notified to me by the restaurant or Open Table website. Because I was hungry in the anticipation of Roy Choi Menu, I had to eat unexpectedly in the restaurant in the lobby of the line. Had I known The Commissioner was closed, I would have made other plans. Please advise other people not to make reservations at this time.

The time... leer más Positive: First I’ll start by stating the food itself is not bad. I came this past Sunday for brunch with some friends, and all of us enjoyed our meal. The time it took from ordering our food to the food arriving at our table was the most prompt service we received the entire time we were there. The ambiance (outside patio) was wondering. The outdoor patio is comfortable and chic. The decor on the inside of the hotel gives you a mid century modern feel and is fun to stroll through and see the refurbishment the hotel underwent. Negative: From the moment we pulled up to valet we should have known that customer service was not a priority at the Riviera. The valets seemed to have no urgency in helping anyone. A group of them stood around chit chatting as cars pulled up, not interested in extending a helpful hand. When we got to Cafe Palmetto the hostess was rude, simply stating my reservation could not be found. No, apology or rectification-Just sorry we don’t have you on our list. Usually a restaurant that cares about customer service would have said “I can’t seem to find your reservation but don’t worry we can get you seated in just a moment” I instead had to then ask if there was a table available. Another woman jumped in and said there was a table available and that we could be seated. Once seated it took almost 15 minutes for our server to come to the table. Nonchalant at that as if he was too busy to do his actual job. We ordered drinks and flagged him down again so we could order our breakfast. Once our food came, which was brought by a “runner” (thank goodness or who knows how long we would have waited) we never saw our waiter again. There was no “how is everything”, “ can I get you anything else”, refills on drinks.... nothing. The waiter finally brought us our check and again, he never returned. I had to track someone down to actually pay my bill. In the downtown Palm Springs setting, on a holiday weekend, I expected more. It’s a shame really!
