The staff is friendly and welcoming as busy as it was they were so quick and attentive. I had me my husband and 3 kids they were great with the kids. I recommend going!! You won't regret it.

From the beginning to the end of our stay and meal was at most subpar. We both work in industry and eat in beautiful places with regularity, and this place is really a waste of money and time that you can otherwise spend on one of the amazing other Inn's in Vermont.

The drinks are a generous pour and always served with a smile. The manager Kelly is a national treasure! I hope you are paying her enough because she puts the spit in hospitality! There is no more welcoming and accommodating presence. I was meeting a friend who had never been to the tavern recently and I was late arriving. Kelly treated them like family. Well better than family lol! Like rich family. And Oscar and all the wait and bar staff are so genuinely courteous and warm. I am in Fort Lauderdale now at the B resort which is just the old Yankee Clipper. Every single staff interaction here has been surly and confrontational as if asking for ketchup or a fresh napkin were a war crime. Thankfully we have the tavern and what a sublime experience it is to drink and dine there. For St Patricks day and every day.

The service I experienced was great, my server was Sam i believe and she couldn't be any more great. The food was fabulous. Everyone was so nice and seemed like a comfy, inviting diner. No complaints.
