I ha... leer más I arrived at about 11:15 a.m. which was 15 minutes after they opened for business. I was the only customer at the time and my order was taken very quickly. I had my order by 11:25 a.m. but the pulled pork sandwich was lukewarm at best as well as the Texas sweet corn. I asked to have it put in the microwave but they didn?t have one. The worker offered to put it in their conventional oven and they did. When it came out it was hotter but still not hot enough. I didn?t complain and just finished my meal. The corn couldn?t be heated up but offered me something else and I took the fried okra which was hot to my liking. Unfortunately, I am not able to give more stars. There were 3 workers on site with no other customers to serve on this Sunday and yet they weren?t able to serve and make one happy customer. Contributing factors to this review: Poor training, uncaring attitudes and equipment that either wasn?t working or wasn?t operated correctly.

Not only is their food delicious, but I went in today to order and the staff was nice enough to give me a free cookie and drinks. This really meant a lot to me, and I wish there was a better way to repay you for this and your kind attitudes, but this is the only think j could think of. Thank you

Try to book a reservation, or else try their walk-in during down times (you may be waiting for hours without a reservation during the weekends) Food- 5 stars Everything here is very good. I particularly like the crab and pork XLB (dumplings), pork chop fried rice, Jidori chicken soup, and beef noodle soup. The spicy dumplings are popular and good, but I prefer the above 4 more. Service- 5 stars Everyone treats you like royalty here. Bottom Line Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Always a great meal when at Din Tai Fung

J J's xiaolongbao are jucier, substantieller and have a stronger overall taste. I'll say that the shrimps and pork siumai are delicious. And a few years ago, when I first visited Din Tai Fung (in her original location), her fried Shanghainese rice cake and I think that it was her fish dumplings also very good. But when I came to lunch about four days ago, I felt increasingly queasy. That evening I threw up a few times (no more food after lunch), then broke into bed and felt confused in the morning. My friend thinks I have mild food poisoning from something I've eaten there. Now this didn't happen when I was here before, and I never saw this in another SGV restaurant, so... don't say I didn't warn you.
