It's way too busy (likely due to its prime downtown location) but they are also understaffed. Today they had only two baristas, one moving at a snail's pace filling the 50+ apporders that were rolling in, and the other sprinting around the store trying to serve all of the in person customers. Mysmoothie had entire chunks of food still in it because the poor worker only blended it for like 15 seconds before pouring it outso he could hand it to me and get to the next customer waiting. Awful experience for $12... but I love this brand and hope theycan improve.

It wasnt terrible but it tasted a bit artificial. The granola was a bit hard and too sweet for me? BUT the REALLY BADTHING: they put a dethaw banana in the bowl and it was partially brown. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I mean is a an acai bowl. Fresh bananais a requirement! Try a little harder. I also got a vegan avocado sandwich. I was a little burnt but it tasted good. Theservice was bad. The poor two girls there seemed annoyed and miserable.

Does your company want someone like this representing them? This young man should take a ride with SF Police Dept one night.UPDATE: As you can see below then I got the 'we are sorry you didn 't have a good guest experience ' response and 'this will be investigated. ' WTH? Well what happened? From their lack of response one can only assume J&theJ is anti-law enforcement? Shame on this company.

I live in the neighborhood and took the bus to Joe's, but I can't support her anymore as they came out as a driving force against Geary bus lanes. This is a shame because the food is great. If losing 4 parking spaces it costs 16% of the shops in a week, why do they still have a parklet that takes up an equal number of places in front of their door? I can't support a hypocritical business that can't understand facts or believe in something else than an autocentric city. Adios Joes!
