28.04.2025 - 10:26Jatujak is the world 's largest weekend market in Bangkok, Thailand. My wife has a thing for Thai food lately so we were looking to support another local Thai business. This restaurant is located in a busy plaza at the corner of Steeles Ave E andMiddlefield Rd. The signage is very visible and lots of free parking available. We ordered 3 lunch specials which were pricedwell and the portions were still decent. 1. Pad thai with chicken $9.95 2. Green Curry chicken $9.95 3. Thai grilled chickenmarinade recipe $11.95 The pad thai had a generous helping of noodles and chicken. There was a lime and crushed peanuts servedon the side. The pad thai had more of a sweet than savoury taste. The noodles were cooked well. I have had pad thai from manydifferent places and I would say this dish is catered toward Canadians and didn 't have the authenticity. The flavours didn 'tjump out of the plate but for the price this meal will definitely fill you up! The green curry was a different story. The currybroth had more spices and basil to give it that nice kick. The spice was not that overpowering and was just right. Our bowl hadmore bamboo shoots than chicken. They used chicken breast meat so that 's major plus. We loved pouring the curry broth on theJasmine rice as it makes the whole dish so much more enjoyable. The Thai grilled chicken marinade was very good as well.Boneless thigh meat grilled with skin-on served with Jasmine rice and mango salad. There was a dipping sauce green chiliesprovided for the chicken which gave an extra kick for the chicken. Overall the experience was great and the food was definitelysomething we will come back for more. Server was attentive and checked up on us 3 or 4 times to ensure we are enjoying the food. There 's a 10% cash discount if you are paying cash. If you 're in the area give them a try. Great food and nice service.

26.01.2024 - 18:47Looking for a fast serve Mexican restaurant? We came here for a late afternoon meal at Oshawa Centre. There was a lineup to order so that's a good 1st impression. Makes you think the food is bomb! We ordered a regular steak burrito $1 for steak) andthe menu feature Bang Bang Shrimp tacos. The burrito has a choice of whole wheat or regular tortilla. The food prep loaded itwith toppings of your choice. Guacamole is extra cost. There were 3 scoops of steak in our burrito. We chose burrito sauce andchipotle bbq to keep the heat low. The bang bang shrimp was prepared in the back and was served with homemade tortilla chips andsalsa. The tacos shells were placed on flat grill to make them warm and crispy. The topping were generous and fresh. Overall weenjoyed the meal and it was a lot more than we bargained. If you are looking to share a burrito with your significant other, aregular size is more than enough. The tacos were also delicious and prepare to get your hands dirty. The toppings drip dripeverywhere.
