Prawns in a light tempura, ribs and a veal steak cooked to perfection were enjoyed immensely. Good service and a great price at the end of the evening rounded it all off. The menu wasn't that extensive but the cooking was great. Recommended.

We ate scrambled eggs with mushrooms and a mixed salad to start with grilled hake and bonito (similar to tuna and very common in Northern Spain) for mains followed by simple puddings. Everything was nicely prepared, especially the fish which was excellent, and the service was friendly and efficient. I wasn't anything complicated but was exactly what we wanted and was very enjoyable. A good no frills meal and we would recommend it and visit again if and when we return to Zarautz.

There was a lot of choice on the menu and we started by ordering a number of plates but the waiter sensibly scaled us back for which we were very grateful. So our first night was crab pate followed by meatballs. Second night was cecina (cured beef) followed by bacalau (salt cod). All of it was excellent. I wanted to try peppers stuffed with bacalau but we never got around to it. We will simply have to return another time. Thanks to the Meson, especially our waiter!

I was wondering why the employees at the Warwick location never put the food in a bag at... leer más This is not a complaint, rather more of a question seeking information. I was wondering why the employees at the Warwick location never put the food in a bag at the drive-thru window and they always hand you random items through the window. For example, a hot dog and an order of barbecue chicken popcorn chicken. Shouldn't that be placed in a big brown bag and handed through the window as such? Please let me know...because the way it seems is that I'm expected to carry each item back in to my workplace on my lunchbreak, without a bag, which is a major inconvenience and enough for me to boycott your establishment.
