Ok, now that we cleared the air on the peanuts let me say this is a fun place to go while you are in Anchorage. When you go in the summer) ask to be seated out on the deck. The deck is a nice covered back porch/deck that overlooks the creek/river. It is nice to listen to the water, see the ducks, and in our case watch the people tubbing float by. The food was good, the prices were fair and there was a good selection of local beers.

Large portion size. Friendly atmosphere. Appropriate prices. Man, I wish we had half a place in Haines or Juneau or NYC for this matter. How about publishing a cookbook?

The lodging was basic for just what a budget traveler needs, internet unfortunately never really worked for me but the staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond. I had a horrible migraine and was traveling alone and they even let me check out late so I could lay down abit before hitting the road. It was so appreciated and made all the difference between a salvaged great day and horrible flareup one. Thanks. Views were beautiful and I truly enjoyed my time in Moose Pass and would definitely stay again. Disappointed I didn't get to eat at the restaurant though cause I heard great things from EVERYONE about it! They had a band playing one night for everyone, alot of fun.
