29.02.2024 - 21:33Lucky for Piccolo Roma, it is able to fill the food niche for all the hungry visitors coming to Homebush. Many of these visitors are staying overnight for various reasons, whether it be sports, concert or school related and there really aren’t too many reasonably priced places to eat! PR ticks all the boxes for family dining! Kids meals like pizza and hot chips are sure to be winners! Asked our waiter what he would recommend... the seafood pasta w linguine and the penne w ragu! Both hearty and delicious choices! Make a booking to avoid a long wait or missing out!

04.02.2024 - 00:03Earth Food Store has recently rebranded like many other cafes in Bondi and is now UMU Plant Based Eatery! Came here to break through the winter chill in search of sustenance and shelter. Ordered a yellow lentil soup with coconut yoghurt for my vegan friend and a green goodness bowl for me! Filled with lots of tasty veggies and not just the usual avocado routine. Interesting tasty dressing too. Added a perfectly poached egg for colour. Colourful, fresh food that makes you feel good. Nice fresh produce in the store too. Do yourself a favour!

03.02.2024 - 20:11The perfect place to come for a Vietnamese feast during the Sydney Vivid Festival (or anytime really! The atmosphere is exciting and electric and the waiters are doing a great job at keeping up with demand! After just returning from Vietnam I am currently on a challenge to find Sydney's best pho and Phomo certainly is in the running! Started with some enticing starters to whet the appetite...Yellow fin tuna tostadas and Pork and Prawn Rice Paper Rolls. Both excellent choices! There are six versions of Vietnamese noodle soups on offer including a vegetarian mushroom option but we both choose the Rare Wagyu Beef Pho which is very tender and succulent. The broth is very flavoursome and soothing after being cooked for 12 hours. Added to this is an abundance of flat rice noodles, bean sprouts, fresh herbs and lemon! Perfect. Will definitely come back to try more of the menu!

03.02.2024 - 12:43Dined at Madame Nhu on a Sunday night and after a big weekend we were looking for a light and healthy dinner! Half of the restaurant was shut off with only the downstairs operating but still a fun, intimate setting! We shared fresh summer prawn rolls, banh mi chicken slider and spicy pho vegetarian option with added tofu (and asked for not too spicy). Without a doubt, the standout dish was the pho! So warming on a cold night and possibly enough for 2 to share easily! Madame Nhu has been feeding Sydneysiders since 2007 and it is easy to see why this place is so popular!

02.02.2024 - 01:36Came here on what was their busiest morning of the year with a school function happening next door! Every seat in the cafe was occupied and many waiting for seats! Understandably so, the coffee is so good and well worth waiting for. Being moments from the girls school it is the obvious spot to meet and eat before making their way to the school! Plenty of commuters getting their early morning coffees too! Shared a delightfully interesting avocado toast; best one I've had in a long while, with baked pumpkin, radicchio herb salad, eggplant kasundi and pickled chilli on black barley and quinoa sourdough! So tasty. Excellent service too considering they were seriously under the pump. Would like to return for a leisurely breakfast next time.

02.02.2024 - 01:11Went to Goemon with the family for dinner. We all ordered the banquet and all agreed this was fantastic value, compared with ordering individual dishes. Started with miso soup and edamame and steamed gyoza. All very good! Then the serious tastes begin: bring on the salmon and spicy leek wrap, followed by my favourite the tuna and kingfish carpaccio. Unbelievably fresh and delicious. Bring on the prawn tempura and mixed vegetables, the Kobe steak, Teriyaki chicken with rice. There was certainly enough food and even my husband commented he was full! This hardly ever happens. Well done Goemon! Really enjoyed it all and of course we will be back! Arigato Gozaimasu!

01.02.2024 - 18:04Best Thai in Mosman without a doubt. Been coming here for many years and the food is consistently delicious and inspiring. There is a specials menu that changes regularly based on seasonal produce and often these dishes are imaginative and unique. On the most recent visit we ordered the prawn betel leaf (so good and tangy), Barramundi fish cakes (to die for) and satay chicken skewers for entrees. The coconut lime prawns for a main is really delicious and is served in the original coconut shell with an infusion of lime, ginger and coconut cream. The Masaman curry of organic lamb is also something you should try as the lamb is slowly cooked and oh so tender. Service is excellent too!

01.02.2024 - 15:38Something very comforting about being at this great burger joint on a Sunday night when its raining buckets outside. This place has everything.....a well stocked cocktail bar area, booths, a pool table, a separate dining space and great food. The John burger, The Don burger and vegetarian nachos certainly hit the spot! A popular local hangout with stylish interiors!

01.02.2024 - 12:53Awesome neighbourhood local which specialises in fresh salads, excellent gelato, frittata, crusty bread and of course pasta! Long time favourites are the summer pudding, apple rhubarb crumble and the beef lasagne! Extremely useful when unexpected visitors arrive on the doorstep!

01.02.2024 - 07:59Feel like being transported to a chic bar in an African game reserve? Then make your way to The Hunter Wine Bar in the heart of Mosman. Dine under the safari tent surrounded by hanging vines, lanterns and wooden beams. You almost expect Robert Redford to appear in a Safari suit! Was delighted by the variety of food options here as I assumed it would be just nibbles and bar food, but no...you can have a substantial meal. Chose the Gatherer Board to share $30) which consisted of falafel, zucchini fritters, olives, haloumi, a range of dips and sourdough. Delicious! Followed this with a beetroot, fennel, orange, walnut and goats cheese salad $16), the grilled beer battered Barramundi with chunky chips, garden salad and house made tartare sauce $18). A totally enjoyable experience!
