Personally I like the chicken multiple ways: as a hot meal with their sides,as a cold meal with cold items they have and as a cold chicken sandwich. The sides are homemade and are very good. The beet and bean salads are a must..delicious as are the gizzards and livers. The Sandwiches are awesome.: flounder, cod and chicken. I have one of those at least once a month. Needless to say I have had everything on Fanny's menu at one time or another and never have been disappointed. So if y'all want good, fresh, made to order food go to Fanny's!

I ate there last week with friends. The servers got their Taco salads mixed up which wasn 't discovered until they had started eating. I started eating my meal and discovered no mushrooms which was one of my reasons for ordering it. When I asked the waitress, she said "oh, the kitchen ran out”!! When I asked to talk to the manager, he offered me a $1 discount! I said it was unacceptable because the dish did not taste right. Then he said he would give me 25% off. He came back and said they had gone out for mushrooms. By then my friends were through eating. He brought me the mushrooms. When my husband got the bill, it stated 25% of $10.99 as $2.20. They couldn 't even get that right! The manager did not care to appease me at all. I was totally embarrassed in front of my friends.

The atmosphere in this cozy restaurant was perfect and very welcoming. In the menu there was much to choose. The food was amazing and served fast. I recommend the smoked chicken, served with rice and vegetables. My wife tried shark for the first time. The service was fantastic, the girls recommend some of the favorite dishes from the menu.
