What a day!!!! I thought 6 hours, what the heck I am going to be doing for six hours. There was no end to the excitement and wow the food. I cannot say enough good stuff about these guys, I think my only recommendation would be slow down or cook a few less things. Most folks were given a job to keep a track of various food items, but the chef was still showing how to prepare other dishes. However they said they were sending out a email with all of the recipes, so I will update when that happens. Anyhow the class goes like this...power-point on the does and don't of grilling, start prepping some dishes, get the grills going, talk about the types of grills and smokers and start cooking. Again the best way to go to one of these classes is to get a bunch of friends to go with. They let you bring your beverages and really is the most fun I have had with a bunch of strangers in a long time. Ultimately I learned a bunch and will definitely be back for a few more courses and they even provide in home cooking too, so once I get my smoker I think I am definitely going to try that. Anyhow if you want to learn about BBQ and grilling plus much more definitely give them a try. What a blast, great job guys!!!!

So I've been to Wicks a bunch of times for trivia, and I was always impressed by the atmosphere they could créât as a local place here in Riverside I went again recently (during COVID just to pick up some beer after ordering online, and I was AGAIN so impressed by their efforts to make people feel so comfortable! I ordered for pick up online when I realized I'd be driving right past where Wicks is located, and I was so happy to see that they only required about 15 minutes to get the order all together. When I drove up, I noticed this awesome tented area they created outside so that people could eat and drink beer whole being socially distant. Additional, they had these barrels on the other side of the parking lot for people who could stand and drink (again while keeping distanced from others! . I thought these ideas were super well thought out, and I really appreciated that it felt like they were taking things seriously. When I walked inside, it was very sparse (obviously inside eating was for only very few people who were spread out significantly. I walked up to the bar to grab my beer, which was already ready and all I needed to do was sign my bill. The workers were super friendly, and they said they hope I enjoyed my beer! I took these home and enjoyed every single beer! This visit, I ordered Cali Punch, Jamaican Me Crazy, Nordic Madman, and In the Wild Flowers. All four were amazing and I'm so glad I could try such a wide variety of their beers after it had been so long since I'd been able to visit! Thanks, Wicks !

What kind of restaurant only serves fans some 50+ days of the year? Well that would be Jernigans. They are open during Orlando Magic Games and Amway concerts that cater to a crowd that can afford a more expensive night out like Billy Joel or Elton John. How do you get in this venue? Well let's dish. First the Magic Fans with louge tickets get first crack at Jernigan's. You can make reservations through a website and usually for most fans that means that you can't get in until tip off at 7 pm. I tried to eat quickly at a game during the holiday season and our server was overloaded with patrons. Generally they provide superior service and if you want you can sit there through the game. The food buffet and drink service ends at the end of the 3rd quarter like other places at Amway. To get to Jernigans you take the elevator up to 4th floor and someone escorts you to the restaurant entrance. The restaurant is at the same level as all the sky boxes. I have eaten there over the last 3 years a couple times each year the food offerings seem to get better. This last time in Dec 2017 they had several chefs at the stations preparing food in batches so that everything was fresh and tasty. There is a charcuterie and cheese board, a market salad bar, usually a station with mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, pasta and some kind of homestyle food. There is a carving station, usually several vegetable, roasted potatoes and rice dishes. One night I saw poke boats and a Polynesian pork buffet with fries. The buffet hits several notes vegetarian, paleo, kids, and stuff yourself silly on protein (that would be me. They also have a high quality dessert spread that seems to be made in house including sundaes. They really mix it up each time so that it is a whole new spread (remember they are not open everyday so they have time to plan. There are three seating levels. 2 levels of ledges where you sit at a counter and face the court or a third table level which is near the buffet. I think they are now charging an extra $10 to sit on the lower ledge level where everyone is facing forward towards the court. This is not all that conducive for a group unless your single focus is the event and you want to climb 2 short sets of stairs. Are there better restaurants in town? Probably but the combination of a great buffet and the view of the game or concert can't be beat. Only a couple downsides. Only once did I see a tshirt launcher hit this level and you are not as engaged with Stuff the Magic Mascot and the rest of the fans that you get with a regular seat.

Chuuk is a great place to go with some friends or family, or even a date night. Ambuance is great and the decor is really nice. All our food was great, Birria tacos especially. Go back and eat those for sure.

We had a fabulous meal here to celebrate the birth of our baby. The staff is so friendly, the food was cooked perfectly, the prices were extremely reasonable for the quality. We are from Los Angeles and this was the best restaurant in Appleton we discovered by far!

Ordered dinner through a delivery service and veggie lasagna was not cooked all the way through, had cheddar cheese on top (not in the description and I've never seen cheddar cheese on lasagna before), and was extremely salty. I wanted to love this place because they included minestrone soup and bread with entree, but the main course was less than edible.

I ordered the chicken tacos and a margarita at the bar. Despite the line outside, everything was prepared and served quickly. So delicious too. Super...

Sushi En is a rare treat for sushi and Asian food enthusiasts. I was crushed when this South Orlando gem lost their lease and closed about a year ago....

My mom is a fan of the Carbonara! She says it is the best ever! They serve it just like she has had in Italy. It has great flavor and that they serve perfectly cooked pasta. I love all the gourmet pizzas and the Zuppe de Pesce. The fresh Zeppoles are the perfect dessert. Can't say enough good things about this place!
