Pre cov... leer más I've been going here for years now and I feel bad reviewing now. But this restaurant deserves five stars because of how consistently good their food is. Pre covid and covid times. Whenever I crave kalguksu or sujebi, I only think of Son Kalguksu. Food: I shared a spicy chicken kaljaebi (kalguksu/sujebi and a little neck clam kaljaebi with a friend. The broth is AMAZING and rich for the spicy chicken and really clean and light for the little neck clam one! They also give HUGE portions so be ready to stuff yourself. I suggest if you want to share with someone, have both at the same time. Truly a great combo: the side dishes are amazing too. Atmosphere: A VERY tiny place. Only seats a few people and has about 6 tables. It kind of gives off an old school Korean vibe which I'm totally okay with. There are two older ladies that seem to run the place and can only speak Korean but they are sweet. If you want to just pick up the food, they pack it well in a nicely sealed container for you too! Highly suggest this place

We had soup/salad, 4 different sandwiches, scone, and macaroons. I gobbled up the tomato soup as that was very delicious. My least favorite was the cucumber/cream cheese sandwich as it was underwhelming. Overall, great experience in the heart of Old Town Pasadena!

I wish this restaurant had more locations since we had to drive all the way to Carrollton but it'd be worth going again for food when we're craving it.

The fried dumplings were equally as bland and fell apart as I was eating them.
