The food that we could see others eating looked delicious, the place was full and we had to wait about 15 mins for table . The owner told us it would be about that time for a table to become available and explained the specials to us in English. We both enjoyed goats cheese salad to start, it was Enormous and we should have shared. Mains , poached salmon and pepper steak with boiled potatoes and vegetables, again all beautifully cooked and presented. I have awarded this restaurant 5 points because the food here was much better than we could cook at home and my best meal of this holiday. The owners were working hard to keep all their customers happy and many seem to be locals. Well done to all the lovely waiting staff they were pleasant and efficient.

Dank der flexiblen Küche wurde auf alle Wünsche eingegangen und auch ein vegetarisches 8 Menu gezaubert, wobei die ersten beiden Vorspeisen und das Dessert des Menus das größte Geschmackserlebnis gezaubert haben. Then she tried to get me to take my umbrella to yet another place. The escargot were in an unusual presentation but tasted nicely. The salmon tartar was outstanding. We ordered schnitzel, rouladen, and a piece of pork in a cream sauce. The rouladen were too thick and dry but the rest was very well prepared and tasty. They substituted my potatoes with Knoedel as I requested and those Knodel were the best. Our 39 Euro bottle of Pfalz Sauvignon Blanc was outstanding. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was not too noisy. Despite the rude greeting, we would come again.
