An excellent reception whilst making the reservation and on entering, from the multiskilled receptionist, chef and waiter. Congratulations to him. A small menu, but with variety. Excellent salads, fantastic lamb and the varied and tempting dessert buffet. A small, but varied, selection of wines including more by-the-glass options than many a larger restaurant.

Bambou est un joli piège. Tout est fait pour vous y attirer: Le cadre est très soigné, l'accueil est plutôt sympathique, la carte semble succulente... mais une... leer más Bambou est un joli piège. Les plats sont bons sans être très goûtus. Certaines viandes sont trop cuites et noyées dans les épices. Le poulet sauté cuit dans 1 feuille arrive carbonisé (pas très pro)... et les explications reçues en retour par la serveuse sont un peu fades. Au final, on retient plus un coup de bambou, avec une addition à plus de 60€ par personne. Pas si joli au final.

We sat outside in summer with a nice temperature. After the order, the food was also served quite quickly, was fresh and came in good portions. To summarize it: certainly worth a visit!

The waiters were s... leer más I do visit many top class restaurants in Geneva, who are polite and keen to make their guests feel welcome. Auberge d’onex isn’t one of them. The waiters were so arrogant and thought it was funny to speak Italian so we couldn’t understand them or...the menu (we speak English, French, German and Dutch so communication was possible! . The food was miserable we did have mostly pasta dishes which had very little flavour. The tiramisu did taste good, but was tossed onto our plates and it ran everywhere. We asked for a spoon to use with our forks to deal with the spaghetti and the request was received with rolling eyes and they made us feel humiliated. Really? Who is the customer here? I don’t understand the high reviews here. We won’t be back, plenty of more friendly restaurants and better tasting food around in Geneva and surrounding France.
