The decor is rustic and centred around a large hearth which is used to prepare a number of the dishes such as grilled...prawns and of course their signature suckling pig roast on the fire. Even the side dishes of penne with ceps and a creamy mashed potato are a joy. The menu is an idealised version of French countryside classics all of which are prepared with a lot more finesse than the menu suggests. A lot of the prep work is actually done in the main 3* kitchen itself, so it is really no surprise that the dishes here are such high quality. The patisserie is particularly strong definitely don't miss the boozy armagnac soaked baba! The price point is almost laughably cheap for the quality of the food. An absolute must visit if you're in this part of France.

I would say that this is now the best restaurant within the Marina. The views across the Marina are superb. The locals come here as I have done over the years as my sailing yacht was based here and if the staff know you the service is great ...if they do not know you I would say the service is perhaps variable as noted in other reviews. I like the place so I would recommend and the owner is very attentive in my opinion.

VERY RUDE!!!! BIG MISTAKE!!! I could have ordered a bottle of champagne. I then asked to use the toilet but he said NO THE TOILET LIGHT WAS BROKEN. WHAT A JOKE... lol Have your manager ever trained you to serve your customer in a michelin-star restaurant???? I'm back in England and then I realize that their 1-star is already gone in 2018!!!! No wonder why it's taken away!!! Shame on you Sola! THIS REVIEW IS GENUINE. I will put the same review to all internet search engines for anyone to be aware of.
