They change their specials every day and the chef and manager who own it for years now make every effort to have new specials and options available daily to all customers and also very aware of food tolerances. They also do catering for the factory I work in for meetings and this is also top quality food and you can tell they provide only the best quality of food. I have read below people saying they do not put enough on the plate. I dont agree, perfect portions and I know there is one gent who comes with us and likes a big dinner, he asks for a extra scoop of mash every time and it is never a problem. Breakfast is also amazing, prices are as per board and like everywhere if you want the extra sides you pay for them. Read what you order and look at the price first instead of creating issues. The Owner Mary and manager Caroline are a credit to the business, they go above and beyond to talk to everyone who goes in there. Make you feel like your welcome every time you step in the door. Have tried some of the newer cafes around the place and the same quality is not there... this restaurant has a big and quick turn over during lunch and you know the food is being refreshed regularly also u like some spots that are not busy and food is lying around. Thank you for years of good service and years more as long as I work in the area.

Everything was tasty but the onion bhaji and samosas were superb. For main course I went out on a limb and opted for the Sali Lamb...very glad I took the risk, it was gorgeous. A side dish of chilli okra was something else too. Naan breads freshly cooked and piping hot. Highly recommended, I'll be back very soon! Since the above visit I've had a takeaway from Dawat which was equally as good as the sit in. They certainly know how to cook delicious Indian food!
